Dodge Leaf Spring Bushing kits with 5/8" Grade 8 Bolts and Hardware!

Applications 1972-1993 Dodge pickup, ramcharger, first gen dodge cummins with 1" spring eyes.

Kit is enough to do (2) individual spring eyes

What are the Dodge Leaf Spring Bushings With 5/8" Bolts?
A great upgrade for your truck! Whether you want to upgrade your hardware to 5/8" from the stock 1/2" or get some new Poly bushings this kit is for you!

What are the benefits of the Hogback Fab leaf spring bushing kits?
The majority of the stock trucks (unless one ton) us a small 1/2" bolt, our kit upgrades to the larger 5/8" bolt to handle anything you throw at it. We use grade 8 hardware with top lock nuts for many years of service. The bushing are Poly to stand up to the abuse. 
 

Strength where you need it most!

  • Urethane bushings
  • No Grease channels to weaken bolts (grease zerks are nothing more than a gimmick, they never take grease and pop off under small amounts of pressure)
  • 5/8" Bolts
How easy is it to install the Hogback Fab spring bushings?
Very easy!
  1. Safely lift/jack truck up and put on jack stands. Make sure to use proper safety gear and equipment
  2. Remove leaf spring bolts
  3. Remove old bushings from leaf springs (press out, burn out, drill out, whichever is your flavor)
  4. Press in new bushings into spring eyes
  5. Bolt in leaf springs back in the truck, 5/8 bolts are to be torqued to 80 FT/LBS. The rest is reverse of removal. (If your mounts are 1/2" they will need to be drilled out to 5/8". Our brackets all come 5/8")
  6. After driving 100 miles make sure to re-torque bolts
